Itinerary
Day 1: arrival to Moscow, overnight in Moscow
Day 2: flight to Astrakhan, ground transfer to the hunting area
Day 3-8: 6 days of hunting

Details:
Volga River Delta, a breeding ground for almost 1 million birds, is one the best locations in Europe for waterfowl hunting. The region offers a wide variety of waterfowl, among which there are over a dozen species of ducks, including mallard, gadwall, northern shoveler, northern pintail, smew, ruddy shelduck, European wigeon, greater scaup, tufted duck, red-crested pochard, garganey, and green-winged teal, as well as grey lag, bean, and white-fronted goose. The best time is the first few days of the season and from November 15 until the end of the season. Late-season weather is usually not cold, with temperatures generally staying above freezing.
