Itinerary

Day 1: arrival to St. Petersburg, 6-hour drive to the hunting area.
Day 2-6: 5 days of hunting.
Day 8: return to St. Petersburg for a flight home.

Details:

The best time for the hunt is during the fall migration, October 10 - November 15; however, the dates vary from year to year. The most common ducks include mallard, green- winged teal, goldeneye, smew, Eurasian wigeon, greater scaup, tufted pochard, gadwall, garganey, northern pochard, northern pintail, northern shoveler, red-crested pochard, black scoter, and white-winged scoter. The hunt occurs twice daily: about 1 hour before sunrise and 2-3 hours before sunset.
