About RUSSIAN Hunting Agency
RUSSIAN Hunting Agency is one of the oldest outfitting agencies in RUSSIA. The company was established in 1990 by Sergei Shushunov with offices in the US and St. Petersburg, RUSSIA. Since then it has hosted hundreds of satisfied clients from all over the world. We offer hunting, fishing, and adventure travel tours in many parts of the RUSSIAN Federation and Central Asia, as well as in many other countries in the region, including, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Mongolia.
We create tailor made itineraries and tours that cater for the wishes and needs of every client, from the hardened hunter with decades of large game-hunting experience to the near novice with only a handful of hunts under their belt. While each of our trips promises to take you into remote, wild, and outlying terrain, moreover, for those who wish to relax and enjoy a few creature comforts between hunts, we offer accommodation in modern cabins or hunting lodges while on your hunting or fishing tour.
Our staff and guides are passionate hunters and fishermen themselves. Many of them hold degrees in wildlife biology and are knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive hunt companions. Our contracts with wildlife authorities, hunters and farmers in the regions where we take our clients, moreover, give our hunters and fishermen access to the best territories and locations available.
The sheer size of Russia and the diversity of its landscapes, the uniqueness of its culture, and the exceptional nature of its wildlife can make it difficult to select a suitable guide for hunting or fishing. Understanding this difficulty and the potential logistical issues surrounding a hunting or fishing trip in Russia and its neighboring territories are a large part of what led to the founding of Russian Hunting Agency over three decades ago.
Since then, our passion for our sport and desire to share the unique experiences on offer in this region have inspired us to organize and outfit some of the finest and most exciting expeditions and tours across Russia and its neighboring Asian and Eastern European countries for clients from all walks of life and from every corner of the globe. For each client we have delivered an experience that we believe no other hunting destination or outfitter in the world can come close to matching.

Welcome to Russian Hunting Agency!
Over the past almost 40 years, I have made my dreams as a big-game hunter, trophy hunter and fisherman in Russia and surrounding countries come true. My objective as founder and director of Russian Hunting Agency is to share these unique experiences with as many fellow hunters as possible and facilitate the fulfillment of their dreams.
My knowledge of the land in which our hunts take place is perhaps second to none – from the Arctic tundra in the north to the Mongolian steppes and Central Asian mountains in the South, and from Eastern Europe to the wild Pacific shores, there are very few spots in which I have not cast my flies or that I have not called a happy hunting ground.
Each of these locations have been my stomping and stalking grounds since I participated in my first hunt back in 1975 and they are places to which I have returned repeatedly over the years as not only as a hunt leader and outfitter, but as a bona fide lover of the world’s wildest places.
As a hunter who has lived his life in pursuit of his passions I know the all-consuming desire for adventure that burns in your heart – because it also burns in mine. With Russian Hunting Agency, my aim is to ensure you fulfill those desires with the help of the most experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled guides.
